It is perfectly okay to write garbage—as long as you edit brilliantly.

About Lauren

I’m Lauren Barron—I’m an editor in Atlanta, and I love being right (about grammar, at least).

Editing the spoken and written word has been my mantra (or annoying habit, depending on whom I’m correcting) for years. I have a BA in English and magazine journalism from the University of Georgia and currently work as a full-time editor at a marketing and research firm. During my free time, I dabble in photography, play with my dogs, cook fun recipes, and read exciting new books.

Whether you’re self-publishing or preparing your manuscript for an agent or publisher, you’ll want your work to be in the best shape it can be—that’s where I come in. My goal is to help writers—aspiring and accomplished—perfect their manuscripts through careful attention, thorough editing, and constructive feedback.

I’m currently accepting editing projects, so if you’re in need of a master editor, contact me.

If you’d like to learn more about the editing process and what to expect from working with me, visit my services page.
